The problem
Auto captions were not made for how you talk
Automatic captions guess at dialect, mishear names and drift out of sync once they are translated. Fixing them by hand means pausing, typing and retiming every single line.
Captionr
Captionr starts from your voice
We transcribe the Arabic you actually speak, translate it with the whole video in view, and keep every English caption on the timing of your Arabic words.
Captions your audience can actually follow
Understands how you talk
Tuned for Levantine Arabic first, and it learns your names, places and recipes from your own glossary.
Lands on the beat
Each English caption starts and ends when you say the Arabic words, so jokes and cuts still hit.
Easy to read on a phone
Every caption is checked for line length, line count and reading speed before you see it.
Nothing goes out unchecked
You read and fix every line before download, and your fixes improve the next video.

How it works
Three steps from upload to captions
- 1
Upload your video
Drop in an MP4, MOV or audio file up to 2 GB. If your connection drops, the upload picks up where it stopped.
- 2
Check the price and pay
We read the length and show you the exact price. You pay once for that video. There is no subscription.
- 3
Review and download
Read through the English captions, fix any line you want, then download SRT or VTT.
What you download
A standard caption file, ready for YouTube
SRT and VTT files work on YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook and most video editors. Upload the file and your captions appear in sync.

Which Arabic dialects do you support?
Levantine Arabic (Syrian, Lebanese, Palestinian and Jordanian) gets the most tuning today. Other dialects and Modern Standard Arabic work as well.
Which languages can I caption into?
English today. More target languages are planned.
How much does it cost?
You pay per video, priced by its length in minutes. You see the exact price before you pay, and there is no subscription.
Why don't the English captions drift out of sync?
Each caption takes its start and end time from the Arabic words you spoke, never from the translation. Line length and reading speed are then checked so every caption stays readable.
Can I fix a caption before I download it?
Yes. Every video goes to review first, and you can edit any line. Your corrections are remembered for your next videos.
Which files can I upload?
Common video and audio files such as MP4, MOV, MKV, MP3, M4A and WAV, up to 2 GB each.
What happens to my video after processing?
We delete the uploaded video and its audio 7 days after processing. Your transcript and captions stay in your account until you delete them.
Where can I use the caption files?
Anywhere that accepts SRT or VTT: YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, most video editors and your own website player.
